Pingli County is the hometown of Nuwa.
The legends of Nvwa mending the sky and creating man have rich folk customs and cultural relics in Pingli. It is the earliest and most concentrated origin of historical records, and has a profound cultural heritage of Nvwa, the first mother of mankind.Therefore, the tea produced in Pingli County, Shaanxi Province is also called Nuwa tea.
