Brewing method: Heat Gaiwan, teapot or other utensils required, place about 5 grams leaves and pour hot water at around 90°C over the leaves, rinse the leaves first and then discard this water, let the dried fish-hook shape leaves awaken or come round. At this point you can smell the aromas released by the moistened and unfolding leaves. Then steep for 1-3 minutes or brew depending your preference and appreciate the infusion. The ratio of leaves and water is suggested at 1:10.
Tasting notes: Grown at high altitude from Duyun, Guizhou province in China, this Duyun black tea comes unique by using fresh leaves of China's No.1 excellent tea cultivar Fuding Dabai harvested in spring. Twisted beautifully like fish-hook shape, the liquor is bright and red-brown with silky and sweet notes, complemented by pleasant fruity and vegetable accents of Guizhou Plateau terroir. It is a fine black tea to be served as afternoon tea.
